Job Role:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the selection of top-tier talent.
  • Lead employee relations, addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Implement and manage performance evaluation systems to drive employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and implement training and development needs for employees.
  • Promote fair trade and ethical practices throughout the corporate site.

Job Pre-Requisites:

  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or other recognized qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour laws and regulations in Sri Lanka.
  • Proven experience in implementing HR strategies that contribute to organizational success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage  HR initiatives independently.
  • Experience in implementing and managing a HRIS system.
  • Passion for promoting fair trade and ethical practices in the workplace.
